The sections (14) are feedable to a forming station (18) with at least one forming unit (19) comprising a forming plate (20) with forming longitudinal edges (23,24) and movable forming tools, esp. elongated forming rollers (21). The movable forming tools during formation of the section are movable along edge areas of the forming plate, esp. from the underside to the upper side. The movable forming tools, esp. the forming rollers, after execution of a forming movement action are raisable sideways from the forming plate and feedable back to the starting position along a movement track at a distance from the forming plate.

Bei der Herstellung von Klappschachteln mit insbesondere abgerundeten Längskanten (11, 12) wird ein Zuschnitt (14) im Bereich einer Formstation (18) vorgeformt. Zu diesem Zweck werden die Bereiche der Längskanten (11, 12) des Zuschnitts (14) durch Formwalzen (21, 22) an Formränder (23, 24) einer Formplatte (20) angedrückt. Um die Leistungsfähigkeit der Formstation (18) zu erhöhen, werden die Formwalzen (21, 22) entlang einer von der Formplatte (20) entfernt liegenden Bewegungsbahn (29) in die Ausgangsstellung zurückbewegt. Während dieser Rückbewegung kann der vorgeformte Zuschnitt (14) abtransportiert und ein nachfolgender Zuschnitt in Position gebracht werden. <IMAGE>
