[origin: EP0667304A2] The cushion body comprises a part piece (4) made of a surface-adhering strip or sheet of paper or cardboard, which is formed to a given shape with blow-damping properties. The strip or sheet can be at least partly of recycling paper or cardboard. The formation is elastically deformable. At least one part piece section (22) is bent. The part piece in a longitudinal direction is limited by long edges (10), which in relation to an arched formation provided in the middle part is compressed. The cushion body in cross-section has a closed periphery. Two face ends (14) of the part piece are joined to one another.
