[origin: EP0667313A2] The reaction part formed as a magnet strip is fixed to the shaft wall of the lift. The linear motor is formed as a synchronous motor and the lift cage (3) is eccentrically fixed to the support rope (4). The magnet strip (15) formed from permanent magnets is fixed to the cross binders (8) of a guide device (6). The guide device is formed as a closed support frame (7,8,10,16), fixed to the shaft wall (2). The support frame together with the guide rails (7), the cross binders (8), the magnet strip (15) and the counterweight (5) forms a unified and closed structural component.
