[origin: EP0667447A1] An automatic harvesting machine has the produce fed into a chopping stage (3) where it is reduced into particles that can be transported (4) into an accelerator (6) for discharge through a duct (5) for collection. The accelerator has a blower with suction inlets. At the rear of the unit is the engine (14) and directly in front of this is a rotating filter (11). This passes in front of a housing (10) that is coupled to a suction duct (9). Particles and dust are continuously removed from the filter to allow air cooling of the engine to be continuously maintained.
