Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0667458A1] The valve has directional flow control provided by a spool (3) that is displaced axially within a constant diameter bore within a main housing block. Recesses in the spool (11) connect with supply and output ports (13). The spool is provided within a sleeve (5) that is retained within a constant diameter section by a ring groove section (14) at one end and an angled section (16) at the other. The electromagnetic actuator (1) fits onto the end of the housing and the armature (2) pushes against the spool.
