Abstract (en)

[origin: DE4237740A1] Proposed is a method of producing catalysts containing iron, potassium and cerium from spent catalysts of this type used in the dehydrogenation of hydrocarbons (i.e. a regeneration method). The method calls for the spent catalyst to be ground and optionally cleaned, and the original catalytic action to be produced again by adjustment of the composition and restoring the external form, an effective quantity of potassium being added to the ground material together with a quantity of cerium such that the total amount of cerium is greater than that originally present.
