[origin: WO9411637A1] The invention relates to a compressor set consisting of at least two side-channel compressors (2, 7) in axially adjacent arrangement, each having a casing consisting of at least two casing sections (8, 9) with radially outwardly projecting connecting plates (10, 10a) and joined together by connectors (13) insertable through corresponding apertures (11, 12) in the connecting plates (10, 10a). The construction of such a compressor set and the distribution of the connecting forces are improved in that at least the two casing sections (8, 9) in the middle of the compressor set are cast in the same way and the design of the connecting plates (10, 10a) on them is such that there is still space for fitting a further connector (13) on either side of a connector (13) which can be arranged at the peripheral centre of the connecting plates (10, 10a).
