[origin: EP0668161A1] The transfer devices has sheet grippers (4) installed on the on the transfer cylinder (2) which have a front stop for the arriving sheets and are adjustable by a controllable positioning device (9,15) during each rotation of the transfer cylinder. The front stop on passing the transfer position, in which a sheet is transferred to the print cylinder, adopts a position through which the exact register of this sheet relative to the position of the printing plate printing it on the plate cylinder is adjusted. The sheet grippers are mounted on a positioning plate (3) located movably on the transfer cylinder and at each end of this plate an individually controllable positioning device (9,13,15) engages.
