Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0668177A1] The air conditioning installation is inserted between an inlet conduit (12) supplied with fresh air and/or recycled air, and the outlets to the vehicle cabin. It includes a fan (16) which supplies two conduits arranged in parallel. One of these conduits (19) continuously heats the air passing through it by means of a heating unit (21,22). The heated air is then sent either into the cabin or to the outside, according to the position of a control valve (25). The other conduit (20) is opened or closed by a further valve (27), according to whether one wishes to freshen or heat the cabin.
