Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0668422A1] The lock has a housing (2) with a core (6) that is reversibly moved between locking and unlocking end positions. There is a blocking device (20) compressed against the core by springs, engaging with a recess (34) in the core when the latter is in a certain locking position, preventing it from unauthorised movement. An electromagnetically-operated gate is used to stop the engagement of the block. Once the engaging face (32) of the block has entered the recess, it cannot be pushed back against the spring force.
