[origin: WO9507638A1] Mechanical hair removal device (1) for plucking hair from the skin (P). The device (1) comprises a hair removal member (6), for example consisting of a roller with discs and blades, movable about an axis (61) and powered by an electric motor (3) and mechanical coupling means (7). The device also comprises means for humidifying the skin (P) including a roller (50), a fluid receptacle (2) and a ventilating system (4), also powered by the motor (3), which lowers the superficial temperature of the skin by forced evaporation, and desensitizes the skin.
