[origin: EP0567412A1] The present invention relates to a box of generally parallelepipedic shape, made from sheet material, such as cardboard, corrugated cardboard or similar, for the packaging and transport of objects, particularly for jars of dairy products or similar, comprising a lateral surround, a bottom and a top. According to the invention, the top (5) of the said box (1) is constituted by two first opposite lateral flaps (5.1, 5.2), connected to the lateral surround (3) by fold lines, locking the said objects (2) in the closed position of the box (1) and each comprising a handle (6.1, 6.2) cut out in the respective flap (5.1, 5.2) and able to be folded back into a position substantially perpendicular to the surface of the flap (5.1, 5.2), for the grasping of the said box (1). <IMAGE>
