[origin: EP0669271A1] The container has a lid (9) which comprises strips (10) in the container's lengthwise direction. When the lid is closed or opened, the strips roll into or out of the lid. The strip which is furthest from the rear end (5) of the container in a position covering the container's opening (11), abuts against the top edge (6) of the other end wall (4) of the container. The end wall (4) has a frame (12) containing the rolled-up lid. The strips are rolled up or unrolled by a crank (13). The free end (14) of the lid has a lock engaging with a locking element (15) on the container (1).
