Abstract (en)
The washer/drier has a drying circuit with a turbine (12), a condenser (9) and a heater, with the turbine situated below the level of the machine's chamber, so that water collected by the condenser in the drying mode is able to pass through the drying circuit. In variants of the design the drying circuit (4''') is separate from the emptying circuit (5''), with the base (7''') of the drying circuit connected to a pump (24) which is linked directly to the machine's chamber, and with both the pump and turbine driven by the same motor (13). The pipe connecting the pump to the machine's chamber is linked to the drying circuit at a point immediately adjacent to the chamber.
