[origin: DE4405867C1] A ground outlet for air consists of a cylindrical housing set into an opening in the ground with a connection pipe and a circular plate covering the housing with outlet openings. Under the plate is a disk which can be adjusted in height and depending on its position, may completely or only partly shut off the outlet openings. The openings comprise at least two concentric circles (7,8) of radial slots (5, 6), of which the inner ones can be completely blocked by the disk. All the disks have their axes inclined to the vertical. The exit cross-section of the outer slots are constricted by ridges in the plate.
