[origin: WO9509332A1] The invention pertains to an air supply device for an interior space, to be installed in an outer wall of a building, especially for a ventilation system, with an air duct that runs all the way through the device and that has a damper (2) which forms a volume flow limiter, is rotatably mounted transversely to the airflow and, when open, assumes an angular position, forming an impact surface for the airflow in the direction of closure of the damper (2), such that as of a predeterminable, airflow-induced difference in pressure between the room to be ventilated and its surroundings the damper (2) is driven by the airflow into a position that closes the air duct (1), where the crosssection of the admission port closed by the ventilation damper (2) is essentially reduced to preferably less than half of the normal crosssection of the air duct (1).
