[origin: EP0670130A1] The display cabinet has at least two glass surfaces (3) made of fireproof panes (5,6) containing a fire-protective agent. In the edges of two glass surfaces at an angle to each other, the entire end surface (8) of one fireproof pane is opposite the edge (9) of the flat side of the other fireproof pane. A narrow gap (10) is left between the end surface and the edge of the flat side, and is closed by the fireproof agent emerging from the end surface, in case of a fire. The gap is sealed by a sealant. The edges including the gap are covered by an angle piece (1). An extra angle-piece (12) is positioned in the corner between the two panes. The two angle pieces are joined by a bridge-piece extending along the gap.
