[origin: EP0670388A2] The sweeping device has a travel frame and a sweeping roller (1) rotatably located around a rotary axis rotatably located on the travel frame. A releasable location is provided at both face sides of the sweeping roller. A bearing shaft (19) penetrates a central opening (4) on at least one face side of the sweeping roller, which has an internal closed section (12) and a further external section (5). In the external section to the opening connects a radial gap (6) reaching as far as the outer periphery of the sweeping roller. The gap has a width which is at least equal to the dia. of the opening. The bearing shaft penetrating the central opening is displaceable axially between a locking position penetrating the internal section and a drawn-back freeing position in the external section.
