[origin: EP0670406A1] The check device is for use with a door-leaf closing mechanism (1) having a sliding arm (3) between the leaf (2) and frame and working in a guide rail (7) on one or the other. Opening movement is limited by a stop (20) on the rail for the arm, and which is held to the rail by a mounting (10, 11). The stop is movable against spring action in the opening direction of the arm. Where the rail is mounted inside a double profiled member, there can be a roller (8) on the arm working in the rail, while a second chamber in the member accommodates the mounting, from which the stop protrudes into the path of the roller.
