Abstract (en)
A freezing drum, of the type with built-in evaporator, comprises a substantially cylindrical external jacket (1) made of metal, a cylindrical freezing chamber (2), made of metal as well, coaxially positioned inside said jacket and at least a spiral-shaped path provided in the hollow space between the jacket and the chamber. The freezing chamber (2) has a rough external surface preferably obtained by plastic machining of the metal, for instance by knurling. <IMAGE>
