Abstract (en)
In the switch, the central part of each flexible strip (8,9) is fixed to the moving part (1) of the switch and each of the ends (8a,9a) of the strips is housed in the mount (10a) of a support (10). An operating mechanism (17) acts on a flexible control strip (18) lying perpendicular to the axial displacement of the operator so as to transmit the movements to the moving part. The moving part has a pushbutton (3) which is insulated from the contact piece (2). The flexible strips deflect to allow simultaneous connection of the two fixed contacts (4,5) by the contact piece. A closure plate (7) separates the contacts from the major part of the pushbutton.

Dispositif de commutation pour ouvrir et fermer une ligne électrique, comportant deux bornes de contact (4,5) un organe de manoeuvre (1) comportant une pièce de contact (2), apte à être déplacé axialement entre une position de fermeture dans laquelle la pièce de contact s'applique simultanément sur les deux bornes de contact en les reliant électriquement et une position d'ouverture dans laquelle la pièce de contact est écartée des deux bornes de contact, et deux lames flexibles (8,9) parallèles solidaires dudit organe de manoeuvre (1). La partie centrale de chaque lame flexible (8,9) est solidaire de l'organe de manoeuvre (1) et chacune des extrémités (8a,9a) de chaque lame flexible (8,9) est logée dans un berceau (10a) d'un support (10). <IMAGE>
