[origin: EP0670585A2] The circuit breaker has a magnet trigger device (22) which acts on a switch latch device (19) to open a contact mechanism (21) in the case of a circuit overload. An arc quenching packet (23) is connected to the magnet trigger (22). The trigger (22) has two coils (33a,33b) connected in parallel. The switch latch may comprise to switch latches (19) each with an associated contact mechanism (21). An arc quenching packet (23) may then be connected to each coil (33a,33b). Lug terminals (81) may be provided at the input and output for connecting the lead. A grip connection (80) may be provided for mechanically coupling switch toggles (20).
