Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0670665A2] The heated glass plate comprises a first rigid transparent substrate (1) provided on one face with a thin electro-conductive film (4) which has connections (8). A thermoplastic polymer film lies over this and is covered by a second rigid transparent substrate (2). The second substrate includes coatings (5,6,7) giving the necessary optical properties, such as a reflective layer for a mirror, or decorative layers. The transparent layers may be normal glass, or tempered glass, pref. heat tempered or hardened. The substrates are polished with a surface roughness of less than 5 micrometres.
