[origin: WO9509073A1] The invention concerns a method and device for producing concrete pipes of uniform length, the device having a core (1), an outer wall (2) and a pressure ram (11). The core (1) is displaceable coaxially inside the outer wall (2) and forms, together with the outer wall (2), an annular space in which the concrete pipe (T) is moulded. A significant innovation in the method proposed is that fact that the concrete is fed into the annular space through an impeller wheel (7, 7') which is mounted on top of the core (1) and creates, towards the end of the pipe-production process, a concrete-free space in which is collected the excess concrete displaced by the ram (11) when it closes off the annular space. This prevents, in particular, excess concrete from dripping on to the inside wall of the pipe or falling on to the floor of the machine, thus avoiding the need to clean these surfaces.
