Abstract (en)
The hair remover comprises a case in which a cylindrical hair removing head (2) rotates. The head has clamping strips (3,4) which mate in pairs to clamp the hairs and uproot them by rotation. The strips are adjacent on one side with a smooth cylindrical surface (5) coaxial with the head rotation axis (X-X'). On the other side they are adjacent to a hollow elongated zone (6) extending parallel to the strip alignment. This zone is adjacent to another smooth cylindrical surface (5a) diametrically opposite to the first. The hollow zone is in front of the strips relative to the head rotation direction (R). The hollow zone has a series of small brushes (7) adjacent the edge of the cylindrical surface. Near one of the sides of the strips the hollow zone has a series of needles (9).

L'invention concerne un appareil pour épiler la peau humaine comprenant un boîtier (1) dans lequel est monté en rotation une tête d'épilation (2) de forme générale cylindrique, comportant des lames de pincement (3,4) coopérant par paires pour pincer les poils et les arracher du fait de la rotation. Conformément à l'invention, les lames (3,4) sont adjacentes d'un côté à une surface cylindrique lisse (5) coaxiale à l'axe (X-X') de rotation de la tête et de l'autre côté à une zone allongée en creux (6) s'étendant parallèlement à l'alignement des lames (3,4), cette zone étant elle-même adjacente à une autre surface cylindrique lisse (5a) diamétralement opposée à la première, ladite zone en creux (6) étant située en avant des lames (3,4) relativement au sens (R) de la rotation de la tête (2). <IMAGE>
