[origin: EP0671139A1] The chair has an angular frame consisting of multiple edge pieces which are connected together bat their ends which have a tenon arrangement. At the corners of the angular frame legs with mortice slots to receive the tenons. Each tenon arrangement consists of at least two tenons (6, 16) fitting into a single slot (12, 13) in the supports (7, 8). The end of each frame-side (2-5) has at least one tenon. In the case of a rectangular seat frame (15), the ends of the two side frame-pieces (4, 5) are bent outwards and assembled on the outer surface of the bend with a matching surface of the front and back frame-pieces (2, 3). The side frame pieces are glued to the front and back frame pieces.
