Abstract (en)
The cutter has a circular blade, opposite which is a rotating drum provided with a location which completely or partly covers its surface, on which the printed material locates during the cutting process. The sharply ground circular blade (6) rotates with higher peripheral speed than the transport device for the printed material (4). The circular blade with its cutting edge (7) cuts through the printed material in the location (2) of the drum (1) or extends into a groove (8) in the location on the drum.

Bei einer Vorrichtung zum Längsschneiden von Bedruckstoffen in Bogen- und Rollenmaschinen mit einer Schneidvorrichtung (5), die als Kreismesser (6) ausgebildet ist, dem eine rotierende Trommel (1) gegenüberliegt, die mit einer ihre Trommelfläche ganz oder teilweise bedeckenden Auflage (2) versehen ist, auf der der Bedruckstoff während des Schneidvorgangs aufliegt, rotiert das scharf geschliffene Kreismesser (6) mit hoher Umfangsgeschwindigkeit entgegen der Transportrichtung des Bedruckstoffes (4), wobei das Kreismesser (6) mit seiner Schneide (7) durch den Bedruckstoff (4) hindurch in die Auflage (2) der Trommel (1) einschneidet und eine Nut (8) in der Auflage (2) der Trommel (1) bildet. <IMAGE>
