[origin: EP0671515A1] The unit, designed to be fitted into a potable water supply with a feed to a consumer unit, e.g. a heater, consists of a disconnector (4) in the form of a cylindrical housing (5) with two sleeves (9,10) equipped with couplings (11), a branch (7) for connection to discharge (8) and at least one stopcock (12), and preferably two. At least one of the two sleeves (9,10) is connected to a stopcock so that it forms a part of the disconnector housing and has a chamber (13) containing a shut-off element (14) which interacts with a seat (15) to control the fluid flow. The unit is pref. made with a stopcock on both the upstream and downstream sides.
