[origin: EP0671530A1] The fitting comprises axially aligned driving bars (1,2) moved in opposite directions by a drive mechanism (3) between them and coupled to them by rails (15,16). A reversing rail (17) extends over these rails at their ends towards the mechanism, and prevents uncoupling of the bars from the actuating links (6,7). The reversing rail ends can be preloaded towards the opposite ends of the driving rails (15,16), being typically cranked or arched. It can be clipped onto the drive mechanism or have a bayonet-coupling to the latter, which can have a protruding pin with two opposite arms, passing through a mating hole in the rail and turned to lock the latter.
