Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0671536A1] The slat (10) comprises a one-piece pressing or extrusion forming a chamber (15) filled with hardening foam, and with ribs (13,14) running along its narrow edges. After the extruding or pressing operation the chamber is accessible via a lengthwise slot (25) held shut by locking portions (21,22) engaging positively together. The slot can run along one edge of the slat between the front and rear walls (11,12) which hinge together, the locking portions being formed along its edges. One of which is hooked (24) to allow suspension from an adjacent slat.
