Abstract (en)
The instant invention concerns a cushioned locking device for rolling shutters or blinds, comprising a toothed wheel (1), which houses cylindrical rollers (5) within its perimetral areas and which rotates precisely within a flat friction ring (4), enclosed, together with the wheel, within a pair of covers (2) opposite each other, which are clamped against the faces of the friction ring. Should there be a failure, this friction ring is made to rotate by the wheel, by means of one of the aforementioned rollers, which stays embedded between the wheel and the friction ring, only during the failure phase. <IMAGE>
