[origin: NL9900019A] The sandwich construction insulation panel (1) is stiffened by metal sheet top-hat profiled members (2) fixed lengthwise to one face and secured by blind-riveting through thin angle members (8). The cavity in the member (2) may be filled with an insulating material glued in place. The larger profile may be fixed over the member (2) with the interspace filled with a fireproof insulating core providing increased stability. Stiffening members may optionally comprise lightweight Z-trusses similarly fixed to either surface of the panel according to the proposed use.
