Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0672360A2] The machine comprises top and bottom tools, each with a ram, a drive, and a feeder. The top and bottom rams are linked to the drive via a transmission and are relatively reciprocable. The bottom ram stroke is controlled via a lever energised by an eccentric disc. The lever has an arm (29) on a lever axis (11) coupled to a hinged drive lever (6) and a control rod (30) interconnecting the two levers. The control rod is fitted with several alternative fastening points, pref. formed by a row of bores (7) in the drive lever.
