Abstract (en)
The cap is made from a piece of material which is folded to form a main layer (102) and two secondary layers (104,105) with elasticated edges. The layers are then joined together by an ovoid seam (130). The secondary layers of the material are folded so that their elasticated edges overlap slightly, and the seam can be made by ultrasonic or thermal welding or by adhesive. The material can be non-woven, made from synthetic fibres such as polypropylene, polyethylene or viscose, or from plastic film, with a weight of 15 to 25 g/m<2>.

Procédé de réalisation d'un article coiffant jetable du type charlotte ronde, caractérisé par le fait qu'il comprenant les étapes qui consistent à : superposer une feuille principale (102) et deux feuilles secondaires (104,106) pourvues de moyens élastiques au niveau de leurs bords longitudinaux internes, et relier les deux feuilles secondaires (104,106) à la feuille principale (102) selon une courbe de forme générale ovoïde (130), les bords longitudinaux (110,112) internes des feuilles secondaires (104,106) étant superposés au moins légèrement avant de réaliser la courbe de liaison (130). L'invention concerne également les articles obtenus par la mise en oeuvre de ce procédé. <IMAGE>
