Abstract (en)
A punch tool is claimed for producing a metallic tubular section (1) of great length with a section closed upon itself and presenting two parallel opposing faces (2, 3) arranged horizontally, with one or preferably two identical rectangular openings (10, 11), the larger edges (12, 13) of these openings extending in the longitudinal direction of the section. The tool comprises a parallelepiped punch (16) of which the lower, lateral cutting blades (30, 31) are parallel to the larger edges of the openings, the width of the punch being equal to the smaller edges while its length is less than that of the larger edges. The punch is integral with a drive piston (17) that allows a dimension of length less than that of the punch, which consists of some upper transverse cutting blades (34) in order to successively form the smaller edges of the opening consecutively with the longitudinal displacement of the section in the throat prior to the return movement.

Outil de poinçonnage, pour la réalisation dans un profilé métallique tubulaire (1) de grande longueur à section fermée sur elle-même et présentant deux faces parallèles opposées (2, 3) disposées horizontalement, d'une et de préférence deux ouvertures rectangulaires identiques (10, 11), les grands côtés (12, 13) de ces ouvertures s'étendant selon la direction longitudinale du profilé. Selon l'invention, l'outil comporte un poinçon (16) parallélépipédique dont les arêtes latérales inférieures tranchantes (30, 31) sont parallèles aux grands côtés des ouvertures, la largeur du poinçon étant égale à celle des petits côtés tandis que sa longueur est inférieure à celle des grands côtés, le poinçon étant solidaire d'un piston de commande (17) qui comporte une dimension en longueur inférieure à celle du poinçon, lequel comprend des arêtes transversales supérieures (34) également tranchantes pour former successivement les petits côtés de l'ouverture consécutivement à des déplacements longitudinaux du profilé dans la gorge préalablement au mouvement de retour de celui-ci. <IMAGE>
