[origin: EP0672807A1] The continuous closure strip (1) has a frame rail (2) with an outer surface (3) for the location of a seal of a door panel and at least one opening for a closure bolt of the lock of a door panel. The closure strip comprises only one arm and on the rear side (6) has at least one longitudinally extending rib (7) for engaging behind a corresp. projection (8) of the frame rail. The width dim. of the closure strip is so chosen that the strip in the installed position extends over the outer surface of the frame rail. The closure strip as far as the openings for fixture screws and the closure bolt of the door has a smooth and even outside (9) and on the opposite rear side (6) to this outside has at least one smooth locating surface (10) running parallel to the outside.
