Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0672871A1] The air drawn through an inlet (11) by the fan (13) is heated by an electric element (14) and expelled (17) through an outlet (12) contg. an infrared sensor (20) which is wired to the heater controller (18). The position of the sensor enables it to detect variations in temp. of the heated area of the object (8) at which the hot air is directed. When a predetermined temp. is attained the heating is reduced or discontinued for safety.
