Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0672872A2] The refrigeration circuit has a pre-compressor (1), a heat exchanger (3), a compressor (4), a second heat exchanger (5) and an air expansion turbine (6). A separate pre-compressor (7) is provided for the circulated air (U) extracted from the cooled space (8), the first pre-compressor used for external air (A), with initial mixing of the compressed air at the first heat exchanger, or at a mixing point (2) infront of the heat exchanger. Pref. both pre-compressors are driven by a common electric motor (9), with a drive coupling between the compressor and the air expansion turbine.
