Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9414693A1] With the single-sheet delivery device of the invention, the individual sheets (2) coming from a printing device are laid down in stacks. The single-sheet delivery device has a single-sheet acceptance plate (4) surrounded by single-sheet alignment means (11, 12, 13) which align the single sheet (2) in such a way that its edge regions project in front of the surface of said acceptance plate (4). In the stacking direction (55) above the single sheet acceptance plate (4) there is a single-sheet cassette (15) with an aperture at the bottom. Supports (18) reducing the cross-section of the aperture are arranged within the periphery of said aperture. The cross-section of the aperture determined by the supports (18) is smaller than the area of a single sheet to be delivered and the sheets to be delivered (2) are pushed through the aperture by the single-sheet acceptance plate (4). The edges of the last single sheet (2) pressed through the aperture of the single-sheet cassette (15) are supported on the supports (18). The stacks (21, 24) of single sheets can be taken from the single-sheet cassette (15) by an operator without interrupting the delivery process.
