[origin: WO9510730A1] The light source (14) is a so-called H1 incandescent lamp used in vehicle headlights. The light source (14) has an earth-contacting metallic base section (22) and a contacting pin (20) for contacting the positive pole. A plug connector (30) with a receptacle (32) may be plugged onto the contact pin (20). The receptacle (32) is surrounded by an electrically insulating sheath (38). An earth contacting element (50) arranged on the sheath (38) has two elastic contact arms (54) that extend toward the light source (14). When the plug connector (30) is mounted, the positive pole of the light source is contacted through the receptacle (32) at the same time as the light source (14) is connected to earth by means of the contacting arms (54) that are prestressed against the base section (22).
