[origin: EP0673607A1] A garment (10), partic. a pullover, has a slipping-on opening. It features a carrier layer (11) and a water-proof or water-repellant function layer (12), which is also wind-proof and steam-permeable. The two layers (11, 12) are joined to each other at least in a neck area (13). The function layer (12) can be turned outwards and a hood (18) can be turned into a space (17) between the two layers (11, 12) through an access opening (16) in the neck section (13). The function layer consists of microporous polytetrafluoroethylene, polyurethane layers or elastomers e.g. copolyether esters and their laminates.
