Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0673769A1] The third bearing holds a roll (34) onto which a dirty towel (37) is wound. A fourth bearing (76) holds a collector roll (78) spaced apart from, and parallel with, the dirty towel roll (34) of the third bearing (62). A second drive mechanism (80) turns the collector roll to wind the dirty wash-towel (64) from the roll (34) onto the collector roll which has a number of dirty towels wound onto it. The dirty wash-towel is cut by cutters (66,67,68) while being held by an attachment (62). A towel container (70) is positioned under the dirty towel roll and collects the pieces of dirty towel roll cut off.
