[origin: EP0673845A2] An assembler-adapter (2) for pallets which procures an increase in the usable surface area of a pallet from 800 x 1,200 mm., so as to obtain a surface area of 1,000 x 1,200 mm. These adapters can be reused and once they have been received by the consignee, they are returned to the manufacturer. It also includes the provision of assembling half pallets, of the DUSSEL type, by means of projections (32) and slots (27) in the U-shaped metal fittings (25, 26) of these half-pallets, which fit into each other in a stable way in order to form a full-sized pallet.
