Abstract (en)
To guide a lightweight web through a processing machine, such as a paper web, an air stream is directed between the leading edge of the web material and the guide unit to take it, with an air speed which is faster than the movement of the web guide units. Also claimed is an appts. with an air jet (3) between the paper web leader (1) and the guide roller (2) as the leader is advanced towards the roller. The air stream is aligned at a tangent to the guide roller (2).

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Führen einer Materialbahn bzw. eines Streifens davon an und um ein sich bewegendes Leitelement. Dabei steht eine einfache und sichere Lösung im Vordergrund. Erreicht wird dies dadurch, daß beispielsweise bei der Anwendung in einer Pressenpartie einer Papiermaschine der Streifen der Papierbahn (1) in die Nähe einer rotierenden Leitwalze (2) gebracht wird. Dort sorgt ein etwa tangential auf die Leitwalze (2) ausgerichteter Luftstrahl einer Blasdüsenvorrichtung (3) für den Transport zu einer nachfolgenden Einheit (8). <IMAGE>
