[origin: EP0674061A1] The roof shingle comprises pref. a metallic flat basic body (1), which in its upper area has fixture bores (3a,3b) and in its lower area is bordered, having a bevel on one side. The bordering in the lower area is U-shaped, and the lateral bevel comprises two cavities (4,5), between which a raised area. The lateral edge (10) opposite the bevel is bordered. The lower edge (8) is bent in the shape of a circular section. This circular section has an inner angle between 60 and 120 deg., pref. between 80 and 105 deg.
