The gear comprises hollow profiles, with a housing (22), in which a pinion (23) provided with a multi-edged recess (28) is rotatably located for the operation of a drive rod. Next to the pinion is at least one tapped hole (29) for a fixture screw. The tapped hole is formed in a displacement part (30'), which is displaceable in the housing axially and in its engagement position does not extend over the one side surface (35) of the housing and in its disengaged position extends over this side surface to engage in a hole in the hollow profile of the pane frame.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Getriebe für das Einsetzen in eine Ausnehmung (10) eines aus Hohlprofilen bestehenden Flügelrahmens (2) eines Fensters, einer Tür oder dergleichen, mit einem Gehäuse (22), in dem ein mit einer Mehrkantausnehmung (28) versehenes Ritzel (23) drehbar für die Betätigung einer Treibstange (4) oder dergleichen gelagert ist, wobei neben dem Ritzel (23) mindestens eine Gewindebohrung (29) für eine Befestigungsschraube liegt. Es ist vorgesehen, daß die Gewindebohrung (29) in einem Verschiebeteil (30') ausgebildet ist, das im Gehäuse (22) axial verschiebbar angeordnet ist und in seiner Einrückstellung die eine Seitenfläche (35) des Gehäuses (22) nicht oder nicht wesentlich überragt und in seiner Ausrückstellung über diese Seitenfläche (35) zum Eingreifen in eine Bohrung (18) oder dergleichen des Hohlprofils (Flügelrahmens 2) ragt. <IMAGE>
