[origin: EP0674088A1] The fire protection door comprises a box-shaped door panel enclosing a mineral fibre plate, in which a reinforcement strip covers a face side of the mineral fibre plate. The plate has longitudinal edge strips angled to the inside of the door panel, a groove open to the face sides of the door panel, and a reinforcement arrangement extending in the strip longitudinal direction. The width of the reinforcement strip (6) extends over the thickness of the mineral fibre plate (4), and the reinforcement arrangements are arranged distributed at equal distances over the width of the reinforcement profile.
