Abstract (en)
The hydraulic jack includes a cylinder (1) with front (2) and rear (3) end blocks, and a master piston (4) with a valve rod (5) passing through the front end block. An auxiliary piston (6) slides on a guide (31) between a rear block (3) and a stop (34a). If pressurised fluid is introduced between the auxiliary piston and the rear block, the auxiliary piston pushes the master piston to the end of its movement where it pressed against the stop (34a). If fluid is introduced between the pistons (4,6), the master piston executes its full range of movement. The position of the end stop is adjustable, being accessible through a removable central stopper (37).

Le vérin à course d'approche comporte un cylindre (1) muni de culasses antérieure (2) et postérieure (3), un piston maître (4) avec une tige de vérin (5) qui traverse la culasse antérieure, et un piston auxiliaire (6) qui coulisse sur un guide (31) entre la culasse postérieure (3) et une butée (34a). Si l'on introduit un fluide sous pression entre le piston auxiliaire (6) et la culasse postérieure (3), le piston auxiliaire (6) pousse le piston maître en fin de course d'approche jusqu'à porter contre la butée (34a). Si l'on introduit alors le fluide entre les pistons (4, 6), le piston maître (4) accomplit sa pleine course. La position de la butée (34a), constituée par la tranche postérieure d'une douille (34) est réglable, la douille (34) étant fixée à l'extrémité d'une rallonge (32) vissée plus ou moins profondément dans le guide (31). Le réglage est accessible en enlevant le bouchon (37) au centre de la culasse postérieure (3). <IMAGE>
