Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0674137A1] The circuit has the water heated by circulation through a hot water heater (1) and fed to a ring line (2), supplying the tap-off lines (3) for each of the taps (4) via gravity or a pump. Each tap-off line has a circulation line (5) of reduced cross-section, part of which extends through the tap-off line and terminates at the tap, the part lying outside the tap-off line made of a pressure-resistant material. The external part of the circulation line is fitted to the tap-off line via a branch connector with a small cross-section branch connection at an acute angle to the flow direction in the tap-off line, the major part of the branch connector leading to the ring line. Pref. a central control device (13) for the hot water supply only operates the water heater and the pump etc. when a movement detector (16) indicates the presence of someone adjacent one of the taps.
