Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9413934A1] The invention relates to a swash plate machine (10) with a hollo w spherical working chamber (16) divided by a wall (18) into at least one high-pressure chamber (23) and a low-pressure chamber (24) into which the working medium can be taken via a pipe system, said separating wall (18) extending as far as piston support (26) and co-operating with a plate-shaped sealing strip (21), with a circular piston (20) matching the diameter of the working chamber (18) which is connected to the outside by a drive shaft (28) with bearings which imparts a wobbling motion to the piston (20) which has at least one radial slot (30) extending from the periphery roughly as far as the piston support (26) into which is inserted a guide pin (38) which co-operates with the separating wall (18), said piston (20) narrowing outwards towards the periphery, in which opposite faces of the piston (20) running perpendicularly to the axis of rotation of the drive shaft (28) are in contact with the side surfaces laterally limiting the working chamber (18), the guide pin (38) in the radial slot (30) being guided in a guide groove (40) in the separating wall (18), said radial slot (30) having angled sides (32, 33), the angle between which is matched to the stroke of the piston (20), and in which the guide pin (38) co-operates with a sealing ring (37) arranged in the piston support (26) and matched to the angle of the radial slot (30) in the piston (20).
